The excitement of beginning a trip. The bags have been packed (neatly I might add thanks to my new Eagle Creek bag and organizers!), the passport checked, the maps gathered. Leslie and I met Laura the the airport a good two hours before our flight. I love flying out of DFW because it is so easy to check in and it never takes much time.

We first flew into Boston and barely made our connecting flight to Paris. Luckily the flight attendants let us off first and we ran to the next gate. With that kind of close timing, we were definitely a little worried about the luggage but we were very glad to be on the way. I always try to sleep as much as possible on the flight over since we will be landing early in the morning in Paris.
So we finally arrive in Paris! And no luck with the luggage. We fill out our claim and head to the hotel. More from Paris tomorrow....
