We spent most of our nights hanging out and eating in one of these places. Italians eat pretty late and you can just sit at a cafe all night long and they don't rush you out. I love that about Europe. We were entertained by lots of singers (my favorite was this really old man who had a CD player and was lip syncing to Pavarati- so precious), ate so much good food and wine and just enjoyed the beautiful balmy weather. After the long hard winter in Germany, I needed some sunshine!
The Pantheon
Trevi Fountain
Piazza Navona
The Spanish Steps
Also so crowded! My cousin Brian, who lives about an hour outside of Rome, showed us a great wine bar at the top of the steps so we could enjoy the sites without all the crowds.

Piazza Novano was indeed my favorite piazza, but my favorite musician has to be the one with the accent/speech impediment that sang Eric Clapton songs by the Pantheon. :)
