Rothenberg is a beautiful, picturesque walled town.  It is so bright and colorful and definitely full of tourists. It's full of fun little shops and cafes.  I was visiting it with 2 guys so I felt a little bad stopping all the time.  Definitely a town to visit with your girlfriends :)  It was rainy on our way in but cleared up about the time we were heading back.  There is a Christmas shop there that we visited.  Christmas markts are big here in Germany- I would love to come back in the winter to actually go to one.  I collect Christmas ornaments from every place I go but they were all a bit outrageous in price (like 10-15 E) so I didn't end up getting one there. Oh well, I'm sure I will have lots to bring home by the end of my trip anyway.
